Inspired by the bobbin furniture of 17th century France, this piece features a solid white oak frame and a natural woven rush seat and backrest.Each bobbin is lathe-turned by hand, a legacy skill that only a few manufactures still possess. The natural woven rush used in the seat and backrest has been used in furniture for thousands of years and is a feature of European country-furniture.
